I am guilty of venturing on to Gilt.com each and every weekday at noon EST, to check out sample sales galore. How do I love Gilt...Let me count the ways...1. They have sales that organize items by color (a dream come true for the OCD set. Don't fret; I count myself in the afore-mentioned group). 2. Gilt sells dashing designers like; Alice and Olivia, James Jeans, Havianas, Kooba, Dolce and Gabana, etc... Often at half retail cost (um, who doesn’t love a bargain or bargains). 3. Gilt boasts a separate culinary website, GiltTaste, for the curious epicureans out there (I am a card carrying member this group as well). 4. Gilt ships very quickly to the East Coast, and has a return policy with wiggle room, just in case you find those James Jeans lacking in that area.
You are bound to find hundreds, nay thousands more reasons to visit Gilt. Pretty soon you will find yourself surrounded by boxes, dressed to the hilt, and waiting for your handsome prince to whisk you off to happily ever after...in an Aston Martin convertible none-the-less.
